What Data We Collect #

Account details #

To provide user accounts, we collect your email address. This allows us to send you password reset emails.

IP Addresses #

For all incoming requests, we anonymize and hash IP addresses and keep them stored for a short time(less than 24 hours).

Full, plain-text, IP addresses are never visible to us.

Referrers #

We store the hostname of URLs of referrers. Path and parameters are discarded.

User Agents #

The User Agent of a request is hashed with IP address and used to infer the device type the user is using. User Agents are not stored in plain text.

Do Not Track #

We honor the Do Not Track header.

Marketing emails #

At the moment of account creation, you may choose to sign up for marketing emails. These emails will be directly from us with information relevant to the RiftKit. We will not sell your email to any other party. We might use a third party services to send you emails.

Cookies #

We do not use cookies. To allow users to use the login functionality, an authentication token will be recorded via local storage.

Third party Software #

To help with the development of the website, we use BugSnag to collect errors that might occur during the use of the software.
